Becky Beck's Goals and Projects for 2014

I am the mother of 8.
From top to bottom and left to right... Emmy is 17 and counting the days until she leaves for USU in the fall, Dakota is 15 and has just discovered girls--which is a good thing since I no longer have to nag him to shower and brush his teeth, Jackson turns 20 this month and is serving an LDS mission in Sao Paulo Brazil, Kloe is 12 and is always singing or complaining about having to practice the violin, Lilly turns 3 this month and she has given us a run for our money from the day she was born, Janie is 5 and loves all things Spiderman, Gracie is 9 and so far my easiest girl--very little drama or complaining.  We have one more son, Kevin Jr who is serving a mission in heaven.
My husband Kevin and I have been married for almost 21 years and been together since our Sophomore year in High School.
I love being a homemaker!  My husband, kids and house are my hobbies.  I love to do projects around the house.  It's always fun to take something you have and make it better.

January-Get rid of the ugly outdated window coverings in my bedroom and hang new curtains.

February-Learn to do Yoga in the comfort of my own home and do it 3 times a week for the entire month.  I hope I love it and will keep doing it, but if I don't, at least I'll know and can quit thinking "I should really learn to do Yoga".

March-Put together 3 digital scrapbooks.  I opted to do a Disneyland scrapbook of our trip last September for Kloe, Gracie and Janie so I need to do one for each of them for last year.

April-Vacuum and clean out my vents.  There are a few I do regularly and a whole bunch I don't.

May-Create a fun blog for my husband's awesome chapter book he's writing.

June-Learn to use the grill and grill all by myself once a week using a new recipe each week.

July-Stain the playhouse/swing set with the help of my kids. (If I play my cards right my little minions will end up doing most of it).

August-Replace the weatherstripping on the back door.

September-Paint and decorate Kloe's new room (she gets Emmy's room when Emmy goes to college.

October-(now this is a lofty one) Learn to tile with the help of my Dad by tiling my master bathroom.  In order to tile the bathroom it will need to be gutted so that's part of the project too.

November-Put together 6 digital scrapbooks for my kids

December-Do the 12 days of Christmas (together with the whole family) for a family who's had a rough year and could really use a pick-me-up.
