Two years ago while my Dad was visiting we discovered that in my home we had a huge space under my stairs that was not being used.
It was pretty much the best discovery ever!
We live in Texas with NO basements and homes here come with storage issues for sure.
To discover this space and have my dad here to cut a hole in my wall, make a door, reinforce the walls (so it can also be used as a tornado shelter) was awesome!
My only job was to paint the door.
Yep, 2 years later it still looked like this...
My goal this month was to get the thing painted!
Luckily Papa Tom came to town and loves projects so I enlisted his help and got it done!
OK so he did the whole thing, but hey it got done and I made him pancakes!

My next goal was to change out some finishes in my bathroom, he may have been a big part of that goal getting completed too,
you will have to wait until next month to see that!

Way to get it done! and by that meaning, getting the right supplies and equipment (papa Tom) in place for it to happen. I can't wait to see the bathroom fixtures, nothing makes me swoon more than a beautiful bathroom! Cute boys and thanks for posting. I love hearing from you. Have a fun trip Becky!
