My thoughts on playing the piano at this point in my life:
1. It is such an escape from the monotony of home duties. Kind of like running, swimming, and biking were before the Mckay.
2. It doesn't become undone the way many of the things I spend my time on during the day. I keep all the notes I acquire.
3. It's a challenge. My brain used to control my fingers but now there's a missing gap from my head to the tips. I really have to think and even then the finish work is marginal. I chalk it up to the 90% done level.

Amazing! You sound great. I'm a little jealous of your baby grand, but I feel lucky to have a piano at all. My boys started lessons in January and I've been tagging along and learning along with them. Love it!
And yes, we want to join you for the midnight ride. I've always wanted to do it, this is the year!
Hi, Stuart! Way to go on the playing, and I'm so glad you have an outlet like this. I think all the little cameos from thumbs and curious faces illustrate what a sacrifice it is for a mother to practice the piano! Love your beautiful instrument. We need to get together for duets sometime!
I love this so much!!! I love that you did a little performance for us! And your piano is so beautiful! What a great addition to your home. Way to go Nora!!
Go Nora! What a beautiful instrument. I really need to have practicing be one of my goals soon!
Bravo!
