February: crochet gifts for my nieces
& nephews in England .
I recently took up crocheting again, only this time I’ve been a little more
adventurous than just blankets.
April:
May: Endure to the End
June: Completely move into my new
apartment and make one significant furniture purchase. I got my own apartment
for the first time in my life; it’s a big step. I also realized how much stuff
I didn’t have.
July: Be a PenPal with a girl for at least 6 months. I love letter writing and putting packages together!
August: sort, weed, and organize my
recipes. I’ve collected recipes over the years and they’re in about half a
dozen places. Now’s the time to get it all together, neatly!
September: learn to make one new dish (not
sure which one yet). Now that I’ve organized my recipes, time to practice a
bit.
October: Take at least 1 online course
and 1 webinar in librarianship. Infopeople is a series of courses, podcasts,
webinars, and training materials geared towards librarians.
OR
do yoga 3-4 times per week. I took up yoga 3 years ago and was pretty diligent. I’ve fallen off a bit but May is a good time, weather-wise, to get up early.

November: It’s National Blog Posting Month
(a.k.a. NaBloPoMo)! I write a Reader’s Advisory blog, posting about each book I
read, from Children’s picture books to dry textbooks. Follow me at www.searchfastrabbit.blogspot.com as I blog
a new book each day this month.
December: Finish
Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving. Too often, I’ve been shopping on
Christmas Eve. Not this year!
