A few months ago Kristyn had a distant relative send her a picture of Kristyn's 3rd great grandmother as a child. The relative didn't know who the other 8 men were in the picture and asked Kristyn if she knew who they were. Kristyn researched this family photo and discovered that her 3rd great grandmother had 8 brothers that she didn't know about. She found the important information for these brothers and their families and prepared the family file cards. She sent them all to Josh so that he could do the baptisms for them. Isn't she amazing?
We took the first batch of names with us on our trip to St. George. Our friends the Atkinson's helped us with the names and my husband baptized me and Josh. Beautiful temple! Amazing temple facts and history to read here.
My other temple trips included: sealings at the Draper temple (my father in law was the sealer) and an endowment session at the Provo Temple. Both of these trips filled me spiritually and I came home grateful for the opportunity to be able to go. I didn't get the intiatory done before the end of the month and I really have no excuse because I live about 2 miles from the Provo temple…but 3 times in one month is pretty good for me.

Great goal and such a sweet story that your son got to participate in!
Man I need a Kristyn in my family! That's pretty cool and three times in a month with a baby under one is remarkable! Yea Andrea.. selling the house next month?
Such a cool story! The gospel is true.
What a lucky kid to have such an aunt! Great goal. My oldest turned 12 a year ago, and it is a different, good different, experience going with your child.
I love it when names have personal meaning to them! You're right, our family is pretty researched out! There's a lady in our ward who always has a stack of names and she tells their story first! That's when temple work gets really fun and personal. I still can't believe Josh is 12!
Go Andrea! What a great experience for your son and what a golden sister! Back after we were newlyweds, my husband and I lived seconds from the Logan temple. We usually did manage to go once a month but I remember it being difficult to schedule it in. How is that possible? I had no kids, no babysitter, and no commute!! Oh how I wish I could go back! Way to make your location count!
