February Goal - Heart Attack my Kid's Doors

I love the month of February because it gives me a chance to focus the entire month on LOVE!  Especially since my baby girl was born on Valentines four years ago and she truly is the most loved child.
We took a 10 day vacation during February and spent Valentines on the the beach so I was grateful for this goal to motivate me to "heart attack" the kids doors post Valentines day.  I was raised in a family where praise and love were given in abundance and I truly believe you cannot give your children too much sincere positive reinforcement so I loved taking the time to write hearts telling my children how much and why I love and appreciate them in my life.  I am so blessed to be their mother!

This is what I'm realizing more and more that they need to hear you say that they are important and that they are loved! Just today I was trying to correct some mean comments coming from my oldest (so close to teenagering) and all of a sudden in her emotion of remorse and reflection, she was sure we didn't love her any more or want her part of the family! We assured her that we did but they really need to hear it all the time. Thanks for posting Bekah! So glad you had a great trip to Disney World.

My second son Matthew was also born on Valentine's Day! For now he absolutely LOVES his birthday and all the fun that accompanies it. I love how doing something simple as a mother (writing love notes) can have such a positive affect on a child. Way to go!
