I had this wall in my garage that looked like a perfect place to put a shelf to hold the big pile of boxes full of
So I researched on pinterest and found some instructions, went to Lowe's and started measuring.
My teenage girls had to hold those frames in place while I drilled them in. I determined that they need to do more upper body workouts based on the cries of "Hurry, my arms are burning!!!!"
But hooray, all that stuff is off the ground and out of the way.
The other big project I did was disassemble a shed with my dad. He decided to upgrade from the wooden shed he built a few years ago to a ginormous one that will be a workshop/rv parking. He offered the old shed to anyone that would come take it away. We've been thinking about getting a shed (our last house had one, and I loved not having the lawn mower, yard equipment, and tools crammed between cars in the garage). So I took it apart.

everything was labeled so it could be reassembled later |

Next month I'll tell about budgeting and starting to run again. :)

These projects are so inspiring to me! The shelves in the garage are perfect for Christmas. Out of the way but accessible for yearly need. The suspension looks easy (although if I asked Janice and Melanie, I doubt I get any easy memories from them)compared to anchoring something to the wall. And a free-shed-just-pour-the-pad are my favorite kind of shed. You'll love the labels. I'm labeling kids clothes now as I swap out seasons and I'm always so glad I write when the next kid will use it. Can't wait to see it up next spring.
So i looked at the photo and they are anchored in the back to the wall and suspended in the front. Very cool and very strong girls!
It's always so rewarding to get those projects done!
Your shelf looks great! Awesome projects going on.
You're so amazing. At least one of my goals should have been do a home improvement project by myself. But, even after your fabulous posts I'm still a little too scared. Great job! I can't wait to hear about your running again.
